What's New

May 16, 2026

  • Players now see the live party status tray that was previously DM-only — each player with an assigned character can see every party member's HP, Stress, Hope, and Armor at a glance, with companions nested under their carer, updating in real time as anyone marks their sheet.

April 27, 2026

  • Daggerheart character sheets now show clickable usage trackers under domain cards and inventory items with limits like "Once per long rest" or "Three times per rest" — same click-to-fill behaviour as HP/Stress, one square per use. Multi-stanza cards (e.g. Book of Homet's Pass Through + Plane Gate) get a separate tracker per stanza.
  • Domain card text is now rendered as structured stanzas — bold title with description below — so multi-spell cards like the Codex domain books read more clearly than a single italic-prefixed paragraph.
  • Homebrew item form has a new abilities editor (title, description, optional max + period) so duplicating an SRD item with usage limits keeps its trackers, and you can hand-author trackers on custom gear.

April 26, 2026

  • DMs now see a live party status tray in the bottom-left corner of every campaign page — a compact card per player character, with companions nested inside their carer's card, showing remaining HP/Stress/Armor and built-up Hope at a glance. Tracker numbers update in real time when any player marks damage, stress, hope, or armor on their sheet, and each character's name links straight to their resource page. Minimise/expand state is remembered per campaign.
  • Daggerheart character sheets now have a clickable Armor tracker with shield-shaped pips, appearing automatically when armor is equipped
  • Daggerheart companion sheets now have a clickable Stress tracker, plus a Hope slot when the companion has the Light in the Dark training mark
  • Daggerheart character sheets now apply always-on stat bonuses from ancestries (Giant +1 HP, Human +1 Stress, Simiah +1 Evasion) and subclasses (Stalwart's threshold ladder, Vengeance: At Ease, Nightwalker: Fleeting Shadow, Winged Sentinel: Ascendant, School of War: Battlemage) — your sheet's HP, Stress, Evasion, and damage thresholds now reflect them automatically

April 24, 2026

  • Daggerheart character sheets now have clickable HP, Stress, and Hope trackers matching the printed sheet — click to mark damage taken, stress accumulated, or hope held; click the leftmost filled cell to clear the row
  • Added 16 adversaries and 4 environments from The Void v1.5 supplement (Mountain Troll, Gobstalker, Grand Feast, Heist, Crystal Wasteland, etc.), and all 36 Age of Umbra adversaries (both Matt Mercer's deadly tuning and the standard-campaign rebalance)
  • Adversary and environment modals now show inline bold/italic formatting extracted from the source PDFs — dice rolls, game triggers ("Mark a Stress", "Spend a Fear"), condition names (_Hidden_, _Vulnerable_), and feature headers all render with their original typography
  • The adversary compendium index now has a tier filter (All / 1–4, visible to players) and a DM-only origin filter (All / Base / Void / Umbra / Homebrew), both as segmented pills next to the search box
  • Entries are grouped on the overview by source (Homebrew → Base Compendium → The Void → Age of Umbra), with headings hiding automatically when a filter empties them
  • Each non-SRD entry carries a coloured pill in the modal and in global search indicating its origin

April 15, 2026

  • Cmd+K / Ctrl+K inside rich text editors now opens global search instead of the editor's link dialog

April 12, 2026

  • Live notes can now be created from the command palette (`nln` or `> your note`) without leaving the current page
  • Timeline and other missing pages are now accessible from the command palette (`gtl`)
  • Homebrew items in the compendium can now be flagged as consumable, carrying over automatically when added to party inventory
  • Party and organization membership editing now uses a unified checklist with instant toggles and batch save, replacing the old per-click approach
  • Organizations now have an editable members section (was previously read-only)
  • Membership references are now recognized regardless of how they were created — changing a mention to a membership from either entity's page correctly appears in the group's member list
  • Added campaign timeline — chronological view of events with year-based ordering, time gap indicators for large jumps, and typeahead search with prev/next navigation

April 6, 2026

  • Equipment features compendium UI — browse, create, edit, and delete equipment features with a visual tiered effects editor
  • Homebrew weapon, armor, and item forms now have an equipment feature picker for assigning stat-modifying features
  • DMs can fork SRD features to create customized campaign-specific variants
  • Feature effect descriptions are grouped and humanized ("Grants +2 to Armor Score. Imposes -1 to Evasion")
  • Character sheets and inventory items now display features consistently from the same data source

April 4, 2026

  • Equipment features (shields, armor traits) now apply stat modifiers to character sheets automatically — shields add to Armor Score, Heavy armor reduces Evasion, and all equipment feature bonuses are reflected in effective stats with breakdown tooltips

March 25, 2026

  • Added Discord webhook notifications for Player Hub forum activity — new discussions and comments are posted to a configured Discord channel
  • DMs can configure a Discord webhook URL per campaign in the campaign metadata form

March 21, 2026

  • Added freewriting as a new resource type — a free-form writing space with no traits, defaulting to today's date as the title
